Chimney sweeping with a visual inspection costs $169.99 + tax. Inspection-only is $129.99 + tax. Dryer vent cleaning is $149.99 + tax. Ask about the agreed scope, access, and any additional work before authorizing it.

Chimney cleaning with gas logs: $199.00 + 8.25% tax. Tell Prime Choice that gas logs are present so the correct cleaning service is discussed. Confirm the scope and applicable tax when booking.

There is water in my fireplace after rain. Do I just need a cap?
A missing cap is one possible cause. Water can also enter through the crown, masonry, flashing, or chase cover. Identify the entry path before paying for a repair.

Does water sealing repair cracked masonry?
No. A suitable water-repellent treatment and structural repair are different work. Damaged joints or other defects should be assessed first.

Can a sweep remove every kind of creosote?
Routine sweeping removes accessible deposits. Hard or glazed buildup may require a different approach; the condition should be discussed after inspection.

Should I use the fireplace while waiting for help with smoke?
Stop using a fireplace that sends smoke into the room. Explain the symptoms when requesting service. For an active fire or suspected carbon-monoxide emergency, leave the home and call emergency services.
